LDNE One-Act Play District Award Winners
Jesse Smith (senior) and Audel Salazar (senior) each received outstanding actor awards at this year's 2011 One-Act District Competition held at Midland Luthern College. Jesse and Audel were also nominated at the East Husker Conference held in Wisner-Pilger.
Lyons-Decatur Northeast received 3rd place at both conference and districts. Their play was "The Undercover Lover" written by David Grote. The kabuki style play ended up being a successful play for the entire Lyons-Decatur Northeast drama club.
